Adventures In Narcissism
This is nothing special. It's just me venting my way through life so I don't actually throw things at the cretinous slugs I meet along the way...

Why on earth would you be nervous about making an audiopost? You sound really nice!
Also, I have to say that I am intrigued by what me and my fellow comic book geeks would call the Origin story of SuperKate.
Do you want my origins, or the origins of the name?
The origin of the name is simple - I like wearing capes and saving the world.
My own personal origins are much more complicated. Needless to say, it was a dark and stormy night when the space shuttle landed.
No, seriously*. I was born at just about the same time the very first space shuttle landed. All the ones before had those little pod thingies and they landed in the ocean.
Okay, fine I was born in the middle of the day. And there was no storm as far as I know.
Actually, I was referring to the story you told; that the entity SuperKate was brought in to my consciousness by a plan to escape to China
Ahhh, perhaps I misrepresented...
The Adventure In Narcissism was brought into existence whilst planning the escape to China.
SuperKate has been saving the world (or at least galavanting around looking busy) since 1997.
well as far as the web is concerned the China escape is the origin of SuperKate, just as for the purposes of comic book geeks up until recently, the origin of Wolverine was the Weapon X project, even though he had been doing heroic things since the 19th century (his healing factor makes him seem ageless)
*bares forhead for the imminent UBERGEEK stamp*
*stamp*
Sounding great, SuperKate! I agree with Essy, you've nothing to worry about. Thanks heaps for doing that.
I hope that was the first of many audio posts! :)
It's okay Essy, we're all geeks here. And I think the origins of SuperKate would be much more interesting if we took them back to a time when I actually did escape. Like escaping from America to go to Yemen. Or even escaping from Yemen to go back to America. These are all much more exciting that just sitting in a chair thinking about going to China.
Anyway, thank you SuperSteve. Although, be careful what you wish for. My next audiopost will most likely be an obnoxious high-pitched squeaky rant about something completely irrelevant. Because that is what I do best.
I can see us all being characters in the comic book equivalent of Tenacious D. A ragtag group of amatuer hardcore superheroes.
I've always wanted to be a hardcore superstar, err, superhero that is.
PS. Looking forward to that rant, SuperKate!
I feel so unloved by your computer...
